Thanks for a very busy rehearsal this week. We sang through everything except the sing alongs. What a fabulous program. You have worked so hard on this, and I am so proud and honoured to be a part of it. You really deserve to be heard. You are awesome. I hope you are continuing to sell tickets. As far as I can tell, our audience is smaller than last year. (next years fees could be about $125, so far).
Just a few reminders about next week,
Monday - Dan and Gary will be with us to put on the final touches. This means fixing tempos and rhythm - ritard. and pauses. Would really like to be able to hear some dynamics, but that depends on how many are watching.
It will be another intense rehearsal - please plan to stay until 3:30 so that we can run through the sing alongs (for Dan and Gary).
Dress for concert - ladies - red or white - Canada t-shirts or golf shirts ( if you prefer a hockey shirt, that's OK too as long as it has a red or white background) If you want to wear a Canadian scarf - that's fine. It will be quite warm remember so don't wear too many layers. Black pants or skirt and black comfortable shoes.
Men - red or white, golf shirts, hockey shirts (any team as long as it's Canadian and red or white background) black trousers, black comfortable shoes.
Concert day : Arrival - between 1:00 and 1:15. (park at St. David's H.S)
Warm-up - 1:30 - 2:15
2:15 - 2:50 - bring a light snack - keep your energy levels up
